"You mean they take off and land right here in this small area?" Robin exclaimed, looking around. "They most certainly do," Robin's mother replied. "Rotorcraft can take off by moving straight up into the sky. They can also land by slowly moving almost straight down to the ground. Because they can take off and land this way, they do not need a lot of landing space."
